Victorian Balloon Back Dining Chairs circa 1860

Set of 6 Victorian balloon back dining chairs (circa 1860) in very good condition with stuff-over seats upholstered in a pleasing light green velvet.  The wooden frames are most likely beech finished to replicate rosewood with the under-frame and springing in very good condition.  Rear sabre and attractively turned front legs – all of which are sturdy with no loose joints.  These chairs look remarkably original and show no obvious signs of having been refinished.

Seat Width at Front 17.5"/44 cm & Width at back 11.5"/29cm. 

Seat Depth 16"/40cm

Balloon is a circle with Dia of: 16"/40cm.
