Pair of Victorian Side / Hall Chairs      

A most attractive pair of early Victorian oak chairs, having scrolled and reeded back supports on sturdy, turned and reeded legs with castellated capitals.  At some point the chairs have been professionally reupholstered with gold coloured velvet to seats and backs; one seat however has a very faint pencil or biro line which is visible only on close inspection.
