Set of 4 William lV Rosewood Balloon Back Chairs  - SOLD

A charming set of William lV (c.1830) rosewood balloon back dining chairs with carved and shaped backs, cabriole front legs and plain sabre rear legs. The shaped seats are upholstered in gold silk with an attractive diamond trellis pattern of embroidered red daisies.  These elegant chairs are in very good condition with no loose joints and the comfortable stuff over seats are soundly sprung and webbed underneath with only extremely minimal signs of use to the upholstery on two of the gold silk seat covers.
