Set of 4 Regency Mahogany Bar Back Chairs

A set of four bar back dining chairs from the Regency period (c.1820).  These sturdy mahogany chairs have an elegant refinement in their design with front and rear sabre legs, and decorative brass inlay featured in both the top rail and back bar, emphasising the quality of workmanship throughout the frame. The drop-in seats have been reupholstered at some point in a pleasing green regency striped fabric which is still in very good condition.

All in all, an attractive and graceful set of period dining chairs in very sound condition throughout.
