A Regency (circa 1820) attractively patterned rosewood sarcophagus tea caddy on bun feet with gadrooned edging to the top lozenge and brass ring side handles. Whilst the lock is not working, the caddy has figured red velvet inside the lid and comprises a replacement (in period) patterned blown glass central mixing bowl flanked on either side by lidded tea canisters showing original silver foil.
Good vintage condition overall, however, the tea mixing bowl replacement is slightly smaller than original with some chips to foot – see photo.
