A superb pair of large 19^th century French gilt bronze ormolu candle sconces with three branches with fine quality cast decoration. The sconces are surmounted with ribbons above feathers and a twisted, reeded column terminating with a well-defined pineapple supporting floral swags.

These impressive and highly decorative pieces are in excellent condition and of substantial proportions being 75cms in overall height.
