Pair of Victorian oak framed hunting prints of the engravings by C. Hunt (London Published Sept 1st 1841 by Ackermann & Co, 96 Strand) after the original painting by R.B.Davis, RBA (1782-1854).
Sizeable dark oak frames with gilt edging - small gilding loss on lower bead of item (2), otherwise both frames and prints are in excellent vintage condition.

1. The Meet (2) The Death
Pair of Victorian oak framed, coloured, hunting prints of paintings by Henry Thomas Alken (1785-1851) a prolific sporting artist and engraver of the early 19thc., who exhibited at the RA. Alken originally began by signing his work as “Ben Tallyho”, before coming to prominence and later continued to produce humorous sporting subjects.
The dark oak, glazed frames and prints are in good, vintage condition.

Pair of Framed Pears Soap – Antique Prints from 1907 & 1908

Original chromolithographic prints titled: “A Merry Christmas” (1907) and “A Winter’s Morning” (1908), both after water colour drawings by Frank Dadd, R.I., (1851-1929) featuring brightly coloured scenes of people in Victorian period costume skating on a frozen lake in the case of A Merry Christmas and riders meeting before the hunt on A Winter’s Morning.
In matching glazed and gilded, decorative frames with minor patches of red bole here and there on (1908), with small loss on frame of (1907), but otherwise in extremely good vintage condition with no signs of fading or foxing.
