An Art Deco Royal Doulton tea service, stamped and numbered, dating from 1936, in a very attractive green and white pattern with black and silver details emphasising the elegantly shaped handles and silver edging. The square shaped tea plates and sandwich plate have cut-away or angled corners high-lighting such a prime feature of the Art Deco style.
Comprising six place settings – Tea plates, cups and saucers, 1 sandwich plate, sugar bowl and milk jug.
Perfect to display or to settle down to tea with a box set of Poirot!
One saucer has a small scratch and the sugar bowl has a small misprint on a line (see photos), otherwise, All pieces are perfect with, no cracks or chips.
