1960s G Plan (E Gomme Ltd) Circular Teak Coffee Table - Model 8040

Designed by Victor B Wilkins in 1965, and probably dating from the late 1960s is this neat but deceptively large, circular teak coffee table Model 8040. The nicely patterned top has an inset circular glass centre above the four-legged, distinctively shaped, teak stand instantly recognisable as a G-Plan table.

Sometimes incorrectly referred to as an Astro table, which has a spider-like base, this table was only designated a model number by G Plan.

The table is in a good vintage condition although the glass does have surface scratches commensurate with age and use.

Dimensions:  H 17¾”/45cm and Dia 33”/83.5cm.
