1960s Modernist Marble/Granite & Chrome Occasional Table

This rare and stylish, large and extremely heavy occasional table after the modernist style of a Milo Baughman design (DIA - Design Institute of America).  Raised on a chromed steel base the square occasional table is divided as alternating quarters of marble and granite contrasting sections, or alternatively they can be positioned as one half black and one half white. 

A striking piece of modernism with very minor scratches and dings to the chrome, the marble and granite surfaces are in very good condition.

Dimensions: H 17½”/45cm x Square 39½”/1 metre.
