This early 70s G-Plan (Model 8052) afromosia teak and glass occasional / coffee table (often referred to as the 'spider' coffee table although it only has five legs) was designed in the mid-1960s by Victor B Wilkins.
Still a design classic and in beautiful, original condition throughout with only two very small marks (see photos) on the high-quality teak surround which appears to float along with the 1/4" (1cm) plate-glass centre supported on the branched base of five curved arms radiating up from a central hub and five legs radiating downwards producing a well-balanced and very desirable piece of mid-20th century furniture.
Dimensions: H 18" / 45cm, Dia 35 ½"/90.5cm.
Item Reference No. CT 70.
Price: £795.00
