1960s Scandinavian Leather & Bentwood Sofa – 3 Seater - SOLD

Scandinavian mid-century modern in design and most probably Norwegian, this 1960s three-seater sofa having a bentwood frame with canvas slings and buttoned leather cushioning in a golden or cognac colour with shaped armrests similar to that used by Ake Fribyter in his design for Nelo. 

We have never seen another in this particular form and apart from minor stretching in the canvas slings, the sofa frame and the cushions are all in excellent condition with only minimal scuffing to the leather – no tears and all buttons in situ.
