1960s Danish Bornholm Rosewood Bureau                                            

Designed by Johannes Sorth for Danish manufacturer, Bornholm Mobler, Nexø, this exceptional rosewood bureau has adjustable shelves over tambour doors which conceal 3 small desk drawers, shelves and storage dividers.  A pull out writing surface sits above 3 full-width drawers to the base which is raised on nicely turned and stretchered legs.  In superb condition throughout this unit, occasionaly seen in teak, is quite a rare find.
