1960s G Plan (E Gomme) Sideboard    SOLD                                       

G Plan sideboard in original, tola wood (West African Teak) finish, featuring brass handles and raised on brass capped tapering & stretchered legs.  Two generous side cupboards have bi-fold pull out doors and adjustable internal shelving that provides ample storage together with a bank of three central drawers, the top one of which has a baize lining and cutlery dividers. 

Produced in High Wycombe during the 1960s, using first class materials and a design influenced by the Scandinavian style, this mid-20th century piece of furniture is in extremely good condition having only one small mark (a pin head sized nick) on the top surface.

The height of the sideboard can be raised slightly by using the additional round, screw-in brass feet - see photos, although these have some pitting.
