1960s Danish Bornholm Rosewood Bureau / Secretaire

Designed by Johannes Sorth for Danish manufacturer, Bornholm Mobler, Nexø, this beautiful rosewood bureau / secretaire, raised on nicely turned and stretchered legs, has adjustable shelves over tambour doors concealing 3 small inner drawers, shelves and storage dividers. A pull out writing surface sits above a full-width cupboard with internal shelf enclosed by two, attractively figured, sliding doors with circular inset handles. Whilst there is a faint ring mark on the writing surface this unit is still in excellent condition throughout.
