Danish Teak Bureau an Arne Wahl Iversen design

A rather special 1960s Danish teak bureau in the highly regarded Arne Wahl Iversen design featuring a pull-out or foldaway copper-backed and labelled mirror by AG Spejl Kobberbeskyttet transforming the bureau into a dressing table as required. In beautiful condition with the centrally positioned mirror being flanked by two small drawers over three pigeon holes. The top section includes an attractively chamfered and shaped pull-out writing surface above the bottom three full-width, dovetailed drawers with inset handles. The top drawer being lockable and retaining the original key.  Raised on tapering round legs with beautiful figuring in the teak and apart from a very feint ring mark on the very top (see photo) that does not detract from this superb piece which otherwise is in excellent vintage condition.
