Danish Teak Sideboard
A very long (210cm) Danish sideboard from the late 1960s in an attractively light coloured teak, comprising three generous drawers lined with green baize above three full width cupboards enclosed by sliding doors with almost full depth vertical finger slots accentuating the stylishly minimalist, clean and simple lines emphasised by two bands of attractive horizontal beading which divide the lower sections and echo the top surface - all indicating a top quality piece probably made by Skovby and sourced with other high-end Danish items that were designed by Niels O Moller (see below).
This sideboard could be placed anywhere in a room as the back has the same teak veneer and plinth rather than a simple plywood finish.
In extremely good condition throughout with very light fading at one end of the top surface.
Dimensions: H 27¾”/70cm, D 17¾”/45cm, L 82¾”/210cm.
Reference No. S 53.
Price: £1,500.00
The sideboard was sourced along with a dining table listed under DT 22, a set of Niels O Moller Model 75 chairs under DC 23, a pair of J L Moller Model 401 chairs listed under DC 24 and a further pair of teak and papercord chairs under DC 25.
