1960s Danish Edvard Valentinsen Bureau / Vanity Unit

A very compact 1960s Danish bureau / vanity unit in delightfully patterned rosewood veneer. Featuring a mirrored back and shelf with a central light behind a pierced panel flanked by two small side drawers above a slide-out writing surface over two full-width drawers with inset handles. Stamped with the Edvard Valentinsen mark and raised on shaped and tapering ebonised legs reminiscent of the style associated with Alfred Hendrikx for Belform BE.

This is an exceptionally attractive and rare piece of mid-20^th century modern furniture in superb condition throughout.
