1970s Ercol Windsor Sideboard – Model 455 - SOLD

A very popular design by Ercol - a style featured in the Ercol Silver Jubilee Exhibition, Hyde Park - is this Ercol Model 455 sideboard (circa 1977) in the Golden Dawn finish (a slightly more golden finish than the sideboard featured in Item S 66) and constructed in solid elm.  Raised on sturdy castors with a panelled back so that it can be positioned anywhere in the room, or even as a room divider, with the distinctively stylish oval inset handles, having three central dove-tailed drawers. The drawers are flanked by a cupboard on either side, each containing an adjustable shelf. The sideboard is in excellent condition throughout with all the original hinges and castors operating smoothly with barely any signs of use.
