Mid-20^th Century Danish Desk – Gunni Oman

A stylish and pleasingly patterned rosewood writing desk (c.1960) designed by Gunni Oman with a generously sized work-surface above an arrangement of three drawers with inset handles on either side of the knee-hole; the reverse side having two deep shelf recesses flanking a drop-down cupboard below a narrow shelf. Raised on turned, detachable legs, the desk is in superb, original, condition with age-related fading to the top surface where a blotter and desk set, accessories, etc., have been kept which does not detract at all from the overall beauty of this piece.
