1970s Dyrlund Modular Executive Desk Suite

An extremely large rosewood executive desk in modular form producing a stunning and versatile piece of furniture by Dyrlund, Denmark, and originally supplied by Turberville Smith, London. The main desk has a knee-hole, with modesty panel, flanked by suspended drawer units; each having three lockable drawers. The suite includes a quadrant section that can be used to simply extend the main desk or form a corner attaching the main desk to the smaller table making an ‘L’ shaped return. Alternatively, the smaller table could be used separately as a side table.

This is a real statement piece of mid-20^th century design that still looks amazing despite some wear commensurate with age and use as well as a small loss of veneer on the main desk surface.
