Designed by Johannes Sorth in the 1960s, after the 19th century Beidermeier/Empire style, and known as the BM 205 cabinet produced by Bornholm Mobelfabrik. This oval or cylindrical pedestal teak veneered unit is labelled on the reverse, flat back which enables it to stand flush against a wall. Ideal for use as a high display surface and with attractive pattern on the curved door with the original key. In addition to the base, the interior comprises five teak interior shelves that can be rearranged to make the unit a practical drinks cabinet or store for items of varying height.
A mid-20th century classic in beautiful, original, condition with a light trace of a ring mark on the right-hand side of the top surface.
