Set of 6 - Finn Juhl Diplomat Chairs by CADO

Designed in 1963 by Finn Juhl for France & Daverkosen (France & Son) and produced by CADO (two chairs still bearing the CADO label). Originally these mahogany and black leather chairs were designed as part of a Board Room, meeting or conference set, hence the rather generous sized seats (approx. 28”/70cm wide) which are now more appropriate as a dining room set. 

This original set of six chairs have distinctively shaped armrests and overall show minimal signs of wear commensurate with light use and the incised mahogany frames – two of which have evidence of minor repair at some point - continue to be sound and the black leather is in exceptionally good, virtually un-marked condition throughout.
