Set of 4 Marcel Breuer - Cesca Chairs in Black frames - SOLD

A matched set of four chrome cantilever Cesca chairs designed by Marcel Breuer in 1928, during his time at the Bauhaus, and called the ‘Cesca’ chair after his daughter, Francesca. Known for their flexibility and comfortable seating position, these chairs continue to be very popular and are justifiably considered a stylish timeless classic.

Made in Italy, this 1970s set are a rare find in such good condition having only minimal signs of use on the chromed tubular steel frames and black surrounds. The chair seats have recently been re-caned, whilst the backs are all original with the cane in perfect condition, resulting in a very smart and usable vintage set.
