A 1960s set of four Kontiki model teak and black vinyl dining chairs designed by Yngve Ekström * (1913-1988) all bearing the Troeds, Swedish manufacturer’s stamp.
These classic and stylishly shaped chairs have a beautifully shaped back rest rising from the frame, enhanced by the recently reupholstered black vinyl seats, resulting in a sturdy and desirable set of chairs that are a fine example of Scandianvian mid-20th century modern design. All the frames and vinyl seat covers are in very good condition.
