1970s Danish Gangsø Mobler Teak & Tiled Extending Dining Table  SOLD

Gangsø Møbelfabrik, Denmark, produced this style of teak, drop leaf, extending table with a central section of very attractive ceramic tiles and is ideal for regular use as a 6 seater or, when extended, is capable of seating 10/12 people. The extending leaves simply hook onto either end of the table for easy removal and storage or can be left in the drop-down position if preferred. 

Overall, condition is very good with changes in wood grain direction producing much of the colour variation in addition to slight fading. One tile has a small (2½”/6cm) crack across a corner and some scuffing is evident on inside of the ‘T’ bar feet.
