From one of Britain’s best furniture designers, Robert Heritage and one of the finest cabinet makers, Archie Shine, together famous for producing quality pieces, comes this beautiful rosewood drum dining table (circa 1960) being first designed in 1959 as part of the Bridgeford collection.
The table is in superb condition throughout, capable of comfortably seating six and comprising a beautifully patterned circular top, raised on a triform base with a reeded frieze incorporating four drawers at the quarter points that feature the neatly inset, round handles which readily distinguish so many of the quality pieces produced under this exceptionally talented working collaboration.
Also available is the set of six “Hamilton” rosewood dining chairs, again designed by Robert Heritage for Archie Shine. The frames are in excellent condition and covered in the original, light tan coloured leather with no tears and very minimal signs of wear commensurate with careful use.
