Gangso & Poul Poulsen Tiled Dining Table & Set of 8 Chairs - SOLD

A desirable set of light teak dining table and chairs by Gangso, Denmark, the table having inlaid ceramic tiles designed by Poul Poulsen, together with a matching set of eight dining chairs, Model 524/Teak/51 from October 1989, still covered in the original oatmeal coloured 70% viscose & 30% wool fabric.  The refectory style table has detachable extension leaves at each end that can be completely removed for separate storage when not required.

The table is in particularly excellent condition, as are several chairs, although some seat cushions have marks and minor moth damage which does not detract from the overall appearance and integrity of the chairs.

Table: H 29”/74cm, W 35”/90cm, L 63”/160cm, extending to 95”/2421cm (Each leaf=16”/41cm)

Chair:  17½”/44.5cm square, Back height 30”/76cm approx.
