1970s John Mortensen Teak Pedestal Table for Heltborg - SOLD

A Danish teak pedestal table designed by John Mortensen for Heltborg Mobler, produced in the 1970s and suitable for use as a dining table or when fully extended to 230cm in length is sufficiently large enough to be a useful meeting / conference table. 

Whilst illustrating the designer’s robust style, the table has a totally original and nicely patterned teak veneered surface with minimal, barely noticeable, colour variation and extends from a conveniently sized circle and the two additional leaves make an extremely large oval easily seating up to 12 people.

As a used item this table is in excellent condition.

H 28½”/72cm, Closed Width(dia). 51¼”/130cm (plus 2 leaves W50cm each)

Extended by: One leaf = L71”/180cm and two leaves = L90½”/230cm.
