A very large and heavy table from the 1990s, designed by Mauro Lipparini for Saporiti, raised on adjustable feet and comprising a very distinctive diamond shaped base of four teak concave panels, bearing the Saporiti Italia label, with chromed steel supports terminating in a stylish, lacquered, oval top forming a strikingly attractive piece of contemporary furniture capable of seating up to eight people.
In good condition throughout with minimal signs of use.

About the Designer: Mauro Lipparini (b.1956)
Being born in Grosseto, Tuscany, Lipparini studied architecture at the University of Florence, graduating in 1980, and has since won many accolades for both architecture and interior design. As well as teaching for many years and time spent working in Japan, Lipparini designed products for many world famous companies illustrating his in-depth understanding and ability to express the purity of minimalistic lines coupled with the innate influence of elegance gained from his Italian background. Now based in Firenze, Italy, Mauro Lipparini continues to participate as a leading designer on the world stage.
